Voted Baltimore's "Best Yarn Shop," Lovelyarns specializes in local, independently dyed yarn and fiber. Owner Melissa Sulzman is a Baltimore native who has a background in studio art. She began knitting as a child and later learned to crochet and weave. When Melissa is not at the store, she enjoys exploring the outdoors. In addition to the yarn, shoppers will also find needles, patterns, and beads.
Lovelyarns also offers classes in knitting, crocheting, and jewelry-making. All skill levels are welcome, and the instructors provide individual attention.
Scrap B-More is a unique craft store that inspires creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior. The ever-changing selection ranges from traditional to one-of-a-kind items. All of the products are donated. This means that tons of usable materials are diverted from the waste streams every year. Shoppers may find paint, yarn, fabric, and so much more.
Scrap B-More also offers monthly workshops where crafters can learn new skills. They're lead by talented artists, and students can let their creative juices flow.
